The location of the cottage was ideal, just a short walk to the town and beach. The house itself was well equipped with two fridges, which was perfect for storing drinks. The beds were comfortable, and the white linen and towels added a touch of luxury. The staff at the office were also very helpful and accommodating.
The outdoor seating area was not very appealing and could use some improvement.

The thing I loved most about 5 Coastguard Cottages in Aldeburgh was having 2 bathrooms with showers. It made getting ready in the morning a breeze and avoided any arguments with my travel companions. As someone who appreciates convenience and privacy, this was a major win for me.
One minor thing that I personally didn't like was the lack of a bathtub. But hey, that's just my preference, and I can see how others might not mind at all.

The gardens were in need of some attention, but that didn't dampen our spirits. We were fortunate to have a hot day during our stay, and while there was no designated seating area outside, we made the most of it. We transformed the garden into our own little oasis, enjoying the sunshine with a makeshift picnic on the lush green patch. It felt like our own slice of paradise amidst the surrounding beauty.
Seating area limited.

Town house over 3 floors, newly decorated and filled with natural light. Conveniently located near the bustling high street and just a 5-minute walk from the beach. Well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. Fantastic views from the windows, including a glimpse of the sea from one of the bedrooms.

Great location, just off the high street and near the beach. Quirky property, with lovely views across the rooftops and out to sea from one bedroom. Staff in office were very helpful, and the cottage was well-equipped with two fridges, one for drinks and comfy beds with clean white linen and towels.
The whole house could use some TLC. There were damp patches, a missing handrail on the stairs, and mould in the downstairs shower.

The location of the cottage was fantastic, with easy walking access to the town and beach. The cottage itself was well laid out and decorated, with three floors providing plenty of space. The proximity to walks around the residential area was also a great advantage.
The outdoor space was not very appealing and could use some TLC. The front and back gardens were in need of a tidy up, and it would have been nice to have a table and chairs in the back to enjoy breakfast or lunch.

Patio and Garden: The tranquil patio and garden of this idyllic cottage transported me to a peaceful oasis, where I could unwind and bask in the beauty of nature. It felt like having my own private botanical retreat, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We stayed at the charming 5 Coastguard Cottages for a couple's getaway in April, and were delighted by its proximity to the beach and high street. The cottage itself was beautifully presented, with tasteful decor and great amenities like a Neff oven and ample hot water supply. The town house layout over three floors was well-designed and filled with natural light, offering lovely views of both the rooftops and the sea from the bedrooms.
We highly recommend this hotel.

The patio and garden were so inviting, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the free WiFi. The towels provided were a lovely touch, adding that extra touch of luxury to my stay.
Oh, how I just adored the fact that there was no airport nearby. Such a shame, really.
